New foods I tried this week:
– Granola cereal: very sweet. They should’ve put more granola and less honey/sweetener.
– cinnamon bun: very dense, icing was weird, not that tasty, prefer the muffins
– fudge graham bar: kinda gritty tasting, but coated in chocolate
– honey mustard pretzel bits: very tasty but hardly any in the bag
– hearty beef stew: tasty, lots of stuff in it so it was decently ‘hearty’

Wednesday I was on diet until dinner, when I made Asian Chicken Legs to eat with Babylon. I had been planning on doing the recipe with wings, but the legs were much cheaper at the store. They turned out pretty delicious. I brought a few in to work for my supervisor and gave the rest to Babylon for lunch, so I wouldn’t be tempted to eat them again and go off diet again.

Thursday I was barely on diet. But I went to the gym with Wolfe since I didn’t get to go on Wednesday.

Friday I wasn’t on diet, since there were leftovers to finish, but I went to the gym again after work. Then I had dinner at UNOs and went to see Lucy with KrazyK. It was a good movie, but very trippy.

Saturday I was on diet. I had tutoring in the morning but the girl forgot we had a session and didn’t show up. Then I hung out with Babylon and we went to the Video Games Live concert together. It. Was. Awesome.

Sunday I was off diet because of D&D. But I did eat less than I used to.

Monday I was on diet. I really need to have more days like that. Ugh. I’ll get the hang of this eventually. At least I’m trying to go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week now.

Tuesday I was on diet until dinner. Got home late from work after staying to do some OT. So I was kinda starving. Temptation is hard when you’re really hungry. Sigh.

New foods I tried this week:
– popcorn: lots in the bag, felt like an actual serving
– burger: pretty tasty but nothing like a real burger
– chocolate caramel bar: basically a chocolate granola bar, it was meh
– roast beef and garlic mashed potatoes: potatoes were a weird consistency but I mixed them with the gravy and it tasted much better, very little beef though, mostly gravy
– zesty herb snack mix: tries to be Chex mix, but fails. Still not bad though.
– apple cinnamon oatmeal: pretty good
– fettuccine alfredo: cheesy and tasty, but would have been better with chicken
– chocolate covered pretzels: there were only 7 in the bag, but they were tasty

Wednesday I was on diet and hit up the gym after a few weeks off. Yay for getting back on track!

Thursday I was on diet again.

Friday I was mostly on diet and went to the gym with TinyFistz. We got Subway for dinner and then headed to my house to be nerdy. She played Skyrim on her PC while I played on my xbox. We are the nerdiest of nerds.

Saturday started out on diet for breakfast. But we had fried chicken for lunch at my parents’ house. Then that night, Babylon, his roommate, and I had a little grilling time. Burgers and brats and grilled veggies. It was pretty awesome. We played video games and hung out and had a great time.

Sunday I had a diet lunch, but Chinese for dinner with Babylon. Though I barely ate any of it. I got three meals out of the one dish. Also, still sore from the gym.

Monday I had diet breakfast, but Chinese leftovers for lunch and dinner.

Tuesday I was on diet most of the day. But I grabbed sushi for dinner on the way home from my oil change because I had a rubbish day at work. I felt like couldn’t do anything right and just kept screwing stuff up. Ugh. Hate. I just wanted to go home and play Skyrim all day. Oh and I’m level 21 now.

New foods I tried this week:
– chocolate cake: thicker than the brownie, but the brownie tasted richer
– cheese puffs: smaller than expected, but really crunchy and many of them in the bag
– sweetened o’s cereal: tastes similar to cheerios
– chocolate nougat bar: reminded me of a snickers, but got melted in shipment

Friday was my birthday and a few of my friends came to Pub Dog to hang out with me and have dinner. So I was off diet for that. It was really fun and I got to see people I haven’t seen in ages, and even meet a new guy.

Saturday was dinner at Texas Roadhouse with my family and TinyFists. Then Coldstone cake at the house. My official birthday party that night which was pretty fun. We played Beautiful Katamari throughout the party. Off diet all day.

Sunday we went to Osaka Hibachi for lunch and stuffed ourselves with sushi and hibachi goodness. Off diet all day.

Monday I got partially back on diet. But leftover steak for lunch made it another off diet day, in my mind.

Tuesday I was mostly back on diet. Though I did get sushi for dinner. I’ll wait to weigh myself again until next week I think. Heh.

I’ve been playing a lot of Skyrim ever since I picked it up last week. I’m enjoying it and I’m already level 11.

Played some Beautiful Katamari this morning before work. I plan on doing some Skyrim tonight.

After today, I’ll be doing weekly updates about just the new foods I’ve tried on the diet. Instead of daily recaps.

Today’s menu included:
– bagel and cream cheese
– chicken parm pasta and salad
– cheesecake bar
– veggies
– chicken alfredo

The cheesecake bar was pretty tasty.

Got home and the power went out for a few seconds which knocked out my internet and cable. So I couldn’t play SKyrim all night as planned. Guess I’ll play it in the morning.

So today hasn’t been going too great. I’ve been kinda down all day because of mistakes I made at work. Here I thought I was doing well… but nope. So yeah, it’s been a rough day.

Today’s menu included:
– honey wheat bagel with cream cheese
– greek yogurt
– Three Cheese Chicken and salad
– peppermint cookie patty
– veggies
– mac and cheese

The bagel was the size of a mini bagel, but tasty.

Peppermint cookie patty, which I assume is supposed to be like a York peppermint patty, was really chewy and stuck to my teeth, making me wish I had a toothbrush at work.

Mac and cheese was okay.

After work, I picked up a new controller for my xbox so now I have 4. Yay! And happened to grab Skyrim: Legendary Edition for only $30. I played a little bit and got to Whiterun. But got tired and now I’m watching some TV before going to bed.

Friday’s coffee date fell through. Sadface. But the party I went to was fun regardless and I had a blast playing video games, hanging out, and grilling up some meats. Super glad I went. I got a little work done too.

Saturday’s menu included:
– cinnamon muffin
– tuna salad on a whole wheat roll
– fudge brownie
– chicken breast sandwich

The tuna was kinda tangy but tasty. And it all fit on the roll.

Fudge brownie was really dense but tasty.

Chicken was really small and had a lot of juice in the packet and fell apart when I took it out. But it didn’t taste bad.

Sunday’s menu included:
– blueberry waffles (off diet)
– chicken parm pasta
– mozzarella sticks (off diet)
– mushroom risotto
– nutrichocolates

The pasta was okay, but the sauce wasn’t very thick.

Risotto did not look appetizing but didn’t taste horrible. Not nearly as tasty as Spike’s risotto though.

Chocolates were melted into a blob. Do not order those when it’s warm. I will wait until Fall or Winter before I get those again, I guess. It’s a shame because the chocolate was tasty.

Today’s menu includes:
– maple brown sugar oatmeal
– papa johns pizza
– party foods

The party last night was awesome. Fireworks and wine and awesome times!

The oatmeal was pretty tasty, but I’m glad I’ll be eating lunch in about an hour. And I was too hungry to wait until then after I woke up.

This weekend is a holiday, so going off-diet is gonna happen. My parents are bringing down the new pantry that my dad built so I’m thanking them by ordering pizza and we’ll all have lunch together.

I have a coffee date this afternoon (yay!), and then a 4th of July party to go to afterward.

Today will be a bad day for dieting, but a good day to be alive.

Today’s menu included:
– asiago bagel with cream cheese
– Cheese Tortellini, string cheese, and veggies
– Craving Shake
– shredded BBQ chicken

Went to work for an hour after camp. Then had to rush home to get ready for the party I’m going to tonight.

BBQ chicken was tasty but very heavy on green peppers. And too much for one roll. Had to use two but I was starving so I’m not surprised I was okay with that.

Now I’m off to the party. Huzzah!

Post 100! Well, 100th public post, that is. Heh.

Today’s menu included:
– banana nut muffin
– Cheese Tortellini and salad
– Craving Shake
– Meatloaf and mashed potatoes
– hummus and pita chips

Well I was going to go to the gym after Annapolis today, but apparently my gym clothes are in my laundry basket and not in my gym bag. And I didn’t put another set of clothes into the bag. Cuz I’m apparently dumb. Drat.

And after Annapolis I was too tired to even go to work at my real job, so it’s probably better off this way.

The meatloaf was… Odd. Nothing like what I make. And it was slathered in tomato sauce and placed on top of the mashed potatoes. So everything mixed and it was weird. Meh.

Well it’s the end of day 7 and I’ve finished the Fast5. And didn’t lose a single pound. I’m hoping that it starts working better for the next 2 months of my program, since I’m already locked in for 2 months at least.

Today’s menu included:
– banana nut muffin
– Double Chocolate Caramel Bar and a salad
– Energy Shake
– Rotini and Meatballs and veggies

The banana nut muffin was very dense.

The bar was decently filling since I had a salad with it.

The rotini tasted very much like a Chef Boyardee meal. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

Camp went better today, but still having problems with the one student. Might be switching him to a different class if he doesn’t straighten up tomorrow. But that’s not really my call.
